Conference Board Event on Communications & Technology
April 19, 2007
Yesterday I had the pleasure to co-present along with Jack Goodman and Jeff Rocke (from Thomson Finanical and Wyeth) on using Web 2.0 and social media within the enterprise, and managing user generated content.
I’ll post a more in-depth review of the event shortly, but in the meantime here is my Presentation.
Also, below are the tools we discussed as a good way to get more familiar with these FREE tools:
•Blog search engines: Technorati, google blog search
•User generated content sites: MySpace or Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Flickr and Del.icio.us or Digg
•RSS readers: (newsgator, bloglines, netvibes, IE 7, Google) and use it daily
•Gmail account and try out Google docs and spreadsheets)
•Blogs(bogger, wordpress, typepad) – even if you delete it the next day
•Wiki – check out wikimatrix to choose the right wiki for you.
